Mercy Announces Roman as a New Board Chairman

St. John’s Mercy Foundation recently appointed George Roman, vice president of government operations and the regional executive for Boeing’s Integrated Defense Systems, chairman of the Board of Directors.
Roman also is a member of the St. John’s Mercy Health Care Board of Directors. He is a strong advocate for St. John’s Mercy and its philanthropic programs and has a good understanding and strong belief in the work of the Foundation, sharing its commitment to long-term success. He takes the place of former Foundation Board Chairman Tom Gunn.
Active in the community, Roman also holds positions on the boards of St. Louis Civic Progress, St. Louis Regional Business Council, Variety and the St. Louis Police Foundation. He also serves on the Eisenhower Fellows St. Louis Board, which identifies St. Louis participants in an Eisenhower Fellows International Project.
